Golf, Heritage & Timeless Charm

Cabot Bordeaux is home to two distinct 18-hole courses that showcase the region’s natural beauty and offer contrasting styles of play. Châteaux, former host of the French Open, was American Bill Coore’s first and only European endeavor, which he completed with gifted Canadian course architect and frequent collaborator Rod Whitman in 1989. Whitman’s solo design, Vignes, debuted two years later.

Châteaux is a classic heathland-inspired layout with firm, fast turf and strategic risk-reward decisions throughout, while Vignes weaves through pines and heather in a more intimate, parkland-meets-moorland setting that rewards precision and thoughtful shot-making. Together, they provide a complementary pair of experiences—one bold and expansive, the other sculpted and strategic—each crafted for depth, character, and longevity.
