Cabot Highlands became part of the Cabot brand in 2022, continuing a legacy rooted in vision and passion for world-class golf. The property’s story began with American developer Mark Parsinen, who launched Castle Stuart Golf Links in 2009 — a course that inspired Cabot co-founder Ben Cowan-Dewar when creating Cabot Links in Nova Scotia. Parsinen dreamed of adding a second course but passed away in 2019 before realizing that vision. Today, Cabot honours that dream with Old Petty, a course that embraces the land’s natural beauty and the spirit of Scottish golf, while introducing a fresh routing and modern design for an unforgettable experience.

Cabot’s portfolio currently spans six Cabot properties and four Cabot-managed properties. Beyond Cabot Highlands, it includes Cabot Cape Breton in Nova Scotia, Canada, Cabot Saint Lucia in the Caribbean, Cabot Revelstoke in British Columbia, Canada, Cabot Citrus Farms Florida, United States, and Cabot Bordeaux in France. With extensive expertise in golf and hospitality management, Cabot also oversees the operations of several premier golf courses through its Cabot-managed properties in the U.S., including Cascata Golf Club and Serket Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nevada, Grand Bear Golf Club in Saucier, Mississippi, and Chariot Run Golf Club in Laconia, Indiana.
